And the best news is he's 6'5"!

That makes the class average just under 6'! lol.

That's great news. I wonder how long before we find out how slow, or prone to drops he is? Meh, either way, it's great to see another face probably heading our way.

This guy was also district champion in the Hurdles... amazing how that works sometimes.

VERY NICE! You know the QBs are happy to have a target that big headed to the Hilltop.

"Fuller is a pretty significant recruiting victory for the Ponies. He was also offered scholarships by Rice, North Texas, UTEP and most recently TCU."

He also said TCU is still trying to get him to switch. Part that made me nervous was that he said it's "never officially closed until February." Sounds like the SMU coaches need to stay on him ALL SEASON LONG.

Also in the story: "There were other school very interested in Fuller. In the month of May he received calls also from Baylor, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Kansas and Vanderbilt. Fuller does have a 3.25 grade-point average and has already scored a 1210 on the SAT."

WELCOME TO SMU, COREY!

Worst news is that is is listed as a "soft" verbal.

You're amazing. Yes, there are shorter WRs who can play. This guy is bigger, and hopefully he also turns out to be a great player for the Ponies.

Height is one of this guy's assets. That's all I'm saying.

Let's just make sure that the coaches make that soft verbal commitment into a solid commitment.

It appears he finished 14th in the High School Division I at the 2006 Texas Relays in the 110 Hurdles. That division could include multiple Classes=probably the smaller schools (3A and privates and below) but I'm not real sure. Same Division as Dallas Roosevelt which is now 3A.

What would be nice to hear is that his committment is soft until the official annoucement that men's track and field is back at SMU.

6' 5" AND 4.55 speed sounds like a good combination. Welcome to SMU !

AMEN, with Aldrick Robinson already at school plus athletes to be named later, we could have a good team
