Mesquite QB switches from Tulsa to Oregon

A DMN blog today says that Mesquite QB Kelly Page has changed his commitment from Tulsa to Oregon.

Looks like he chose BCS over proximity. Thought you would like to see this.

Apparently, he is a 3-star recruit -- for those who care about that kind of thing. It's interesting but at the same time worthless.

Hmm... I didn't expect a Pac-10 team to make an offer on a guy who tore his knee up last season. He's a good, mobile QB on a team I would expect to make a deep run in the 5A playoffs this coming football season. PB and co. might want to look to the east at Mesquite to find some recruits.
