Hall (6-1, 219 lb., 4.5 per Texas Football) is this week's DMN Defensive Player of the Week. According to the DMN, Hall was an all-district defensive end last season, but was moved to middle linebacker this year. He had 15 tackles (6 for loss), 3 sacks, two fumble recoveries, two pass breakups, and a forced fumble in Molina's win over North Dallas. According to the DMN, Hall is also a wrestler, qualifying as an alternate in the statre wrestling meet last year. He is not rated by Rivals and hasn't yet been offered a scholarship. BTW, Molina is a 5A school so we are talking big-time football with this kid! With his size and background, it sounds like SMU should be KNOCKING on this kid's door right now offer in hand!

I'd probably wait to see how he plays against Carter before making any kind of real assessment on this kid. After all, he was playing against North Dallas, the Temple University of DISD Football.

yep those kids at Sunset, North Dallas, Molina and even Thomas Jefferson don't get a lot of looks. Very poor level of play. Wasn't that the District where a 3-8 team was in the playoffs last year? But a school like SMU has got to find kids from places like that.

Given his size, speed, and all-district performance last year, I think I would take the chance. He sure seems to have a nose for the football, which is more than was demonstrated by our players on the field today!

I believe that was Bryan Adams, led by their wife beating coach.
