Can't seem to find him in any of the recruting databases but watched this kid all year. The center on the OL was a 2 star that committed to Tulsa but Dusin "Big Nasty" Marshall was the star of the o-line along with Jr. Cody Milam. Dustin is 6-6 and 335 and is pretty quick on his feet. Just wondering if anyone had info on him.

I hear he is 6-6 and 335, and quick on his feet. :D

Call the football office and make sure Randy Ross knows about him.
He's the director of football operations, and sort of holding down the fort with recruiting until the new staff gets hired.

Can't have too many guys like that, and Allen has put out some very good OLs. Get SMU on him pronto.

Today

Poster A...Coach signed another one!!!

Poster B...Another East Texas find  , reminds me of Player fill in the blank
Player fill in the blank is a current/former SMU player who never played on a winning team, never competed for a championship, never received any post-season honors outside of all-academic consideration.

Stallion...Player has received zero offers, SFA and LA-Monroe have shown some interest.

Posters A,B,C,D,E,F,G...Stallion you are full of crap...Rivals means nothing, can't judge heart, what if player is reading this site, he is a Mustang now...blah blah blah...

Poster C...what about Justin Rodgers, he turned out ok!!!

Posters A-G...WELCOME to the HERD!!!!

Four Years from Now

Posters A-Z...We can't tackle or block...FIRE THE COACH

Mavs,

I will take a first stab at it.

SMU has just received a commitment from a 2-star ‘athlete’ whose only other offer was Louisiana Lafayette. Sam Houston and Arkansas State have also shown interest.

Corso – This backs’ running style will remind you of Darren McFadden. His burst to the ball is like Frank Okam.. He is a mauler in the Duke Robinson tradition.

Charleston Pony – I think we all need to give our HC some time to turn this program around. Long live the 1,500!!

Stallion – 2-star lineman listed at 5’11â€

I was counting on Stallion to have some insight on the kid. Not to many 6'6" Big Ol' lineman that rivals misses. I think he may have had grade problems and did not play a lot last year from what my daughter told me. Though apparently that is not an issue this year. Maybe he is a non-qualifier.

Sarge, there is no shame in changing your opinion of PB.

It is the speed and severity by which you did that I find amusing.

Your assessments of Corso and Charleston seem a little inconsistent with their posts — or at least the ones I recall reading — but that's still some funny stuff.

Again, I go back to the North Texas game when it was a mess -- the 99 yard drive -- how unprepared they looked at Ark. State and how opportunities inside the TCU 30 on several occasions misfired, especially the fourth and one at their 24 late in the first half.

That's when it was clear -- maybe I was diehard holdout -- that this thing was going nowhere.
