according to Rivals. Well at least we won't have to see him every year at TCU. Guess Mr. Bell is going to have a busy travel iteniary to watch both of his kids play

Hate to say it, but was wrong. Personally think a huge mistake by Bell because McMillian at TCU is one of the best DB coaches in college football and has turned down offers from Tampa Bay, etc to stay at TCU. His work with Coleman specifically got him into the NFL. Good luck to him.

So if we hire a coach pretty quick, maybe he holds off signing? I know, wishful thinking on both counts.

Did he actually sign?
Rivals has him as a solid verbal to K-State.

No he's a JUCO, he could've signed already, and I think Jones had a commitment from a guy on his JUCO team to play WR.
<EDIT>
Attrail Snipes - WR - 3-star rival, 4-star scout

the key is whether he graduated from JUCO at mid-term. If yes he could have signed in December. If not then he could sign on the Ferbruary signing date. He is the only commit to K-State from about 7 JUCOs who is not listed as having signed-so PROBABLY he didn't graduate yet. He was a full qualifier out of high school but reports are that he had some academic problems at UTEP as a freshman before transfering to JUCO. Hopefully, he is still in play but it should be noted he has not yet been offered by SMU for whatever reason. Would be a big commitment if we could get him and I'm pretty sure he gets immediate playing time.

Greg McMackin as DC might just perk Bell's ears & make him give us a one more look.

Pulling one back in like this and possibly the WR that switched to TCU would be a good start in getting back in the recruiting game.

Where is Mr. Bell. Thought he would have responded to this thread by now?

Kate's new story on the PF.com homepage says Jones is supposed to be back in Dallas Tuesday. I would guess that's when he starts looking at recruits.
