With a month or less to recruit-who do you chase?

The new HC, whoever he (or she) is, will be left with the daunting task of not only finding a staff, but also finding at least 12 of the finest high school athletes available in under a month. So who do you recommend the new coach go after?

Some of my favorites still out there (uncommitted):

QB Riko Smalls 6-1/190/4.4 Plano, TX (East)
RB Michael Connor 5-10/190/4.5 Wolfforth, TX (Frienship)
RB Marcus Jackson 5-11/180/4.5 Round Rock, TX
RB Will Clay 6-1/195/4.6 Snyder, TX
WR Steven Osborne 6-4/180/4.5 Garland, TX (South Garland)
WR Chris Brainard 5-11/162 Southlake, TX
TE/LB Caleb Russell 6-2/235/4.7 Midlothian, TX
OL Patrick Dvoracek (G/T) 6-3.5/295/5.38 Mansfield, TX (Timberview)
OL Kestin Blevins 6-3/285/4.98 Hurst, TX (LD Bell)
DE A. C. Crespin DE 6-2/255/4.75 Rio Rancho, NM
DT Allan Brown 6-4/314 Carthage, TX
LB Blaine Adkins 6-0/230/4.53 Katy, TX
LB Ryan Epperson 6-1/215/4.6 Brownsboro, TX
LB Weekendfer Suarit 6-1/274/4.70 South Houston, TX
DB Luke Anderson 5-10/173/4.3 Southlake, TX 40″ vert!
DB Tramaine Thomas CB/S 6-1/175/4.5 Winnie, TX (East Chambers)
DB Dominick Maddox 5-10/195/4.45 Converse, TX (Judson)
DB Chase Inman S6-2/187/4.6 Dallas, TX (Lake Highlands)

These are all somewhat under-rated players who have a lot of heart and athleticism. Osborne & Thomas well known, but Osborne may be a package deal with his brother, Thomas is just at a very small school.

I still hold out for Cyrus Gray from DeSoto.
A very good kid who would be great for the program.

I have faith that there are some soft commitments out there, which our new regime (assuming there is one) may be able to convert. We will see. Again the sky is not falling (yet).

Duly noted that "optimism" is not a word in your vocabulary.

We lost to one of those teams this year and last year, one of those teams the last time we played them, and would probably be underdogs to the other three. I would say if we can steal anyone from any of those teams it would be an improvement.

If June Jones is our coach, he'll be combing the detention centers I reckon. It worked at Hawaii.

Is that weight a typo? If not, sign him up and throw him in the middle.

No typo, the guy is a rock and actually very athletic. Plays on the schools soccer team and moves very well laterally. unfortunately he is at a school where few visit.
