Get a coach and he might come back...if the new coach wants him. The kid was just getting nervous probably and wanted a place held for him somewhere.

Verbal committments from someone who changes his mind don't mean a whole lot until national signing day.

Yes, we did not need a sorry kid like him, we were 1-11 without him after all.

Let's not start slinging insults at recruits. they are just as frustrated with this coaching situation as we are - if not more, since their future/education is on the line. what if this kid were to hold out for us to hire a coach who turns around and doesn't want the kid. then he's stuck, especially if an athletic scholarship was his ticket to a degree.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

He is a safety, too. We could use all the help we can get on defense. Hopefully we get a new coach this weekend, and he can help the kid change his mind again.

Bump.

Anyone hear if hiring JJ has given him second thoughts?

The question now is whether JJ has any interest.

I'm more interested in restocking the LBs and OL.
