The key word here is REALLY

Answer...Who Knows???

What we DO know is that we currently have 5 kids with an average Rivals rating of under 5.2 and that over the past 19 years, fielding a team full of under 5.2 rated players does not get us very far.

Are you worried about filling up all the scholarship slots with >5.2 Athletes? If that turns out to be a problem, I'll stand corrected.

There are certainly different schools of thought, one being to cross everyone off and start all over. I kind of like the one of honoring those to whom you have made an offer and who have remained committed through this process. But like everything else, the man getting the big bucks gets to make that call.

I think you honor those who have not decommitted. Those that decommitted, you're free to re-think their offers. If I were them, and I wanted to come to SMU, I'd re-commit ASAP, before Jones has a chance to start pulling offers.

Wasn't it reported that Dews was offered a scholarship pending weight management or something?

Absolutely — whether they can play or not, it's good business. Besides, there's only five of them, and it sounds like a few of them really can play. Let's hope.

honor them. if they're good enough athletes, they can adapt/change position to fit in somewhere (good coaches do this).

AND, i haven't seen any new names on the list this week. i know it's only been 2 days, but hopefully things will start happening fast.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Coach Jones is tying up loose ends in Hawaii and won't be back on campus until early next week.
