Kevin Craft has said he will sign with SMU. Craft is 6'5" 205 and has a 5.5 Rivals personal rating.

FWIW, I jumped on the Rivals web site and searched his name. I chose not go past the pay site, but the schools listed on there were North Carolina, Hawaii, Akron and Northern Illinois.
But again, since The Keeper of the Star has a subscription, he can speak to where those schools really stood in terms of offers in relation to Hawaii.
I'm sure the SMU stuff is on there, but I am not able to get to it.

Colorado St. I hear has some interest-but this may have been a "placed recruit" by June Jones with the kid's father-so it may be that other schools really didn't have much chance.

When you look at all the points Craft's JC scored in 2007 and realize this guy will be here this spring, WOW. Craft and Willis will both understand the offense pretty well going into fall which really helps us out. I like having more than one experienced QB......Now if we can just get some defensive help.

This is a great sign to hear players coming to SMU with JJ. I really want to see some Juco lineman, linebackers, and a couple transfers this year or next year. We must improve the lines. This qb looks like a real player.

That is great, and i hope the JWill steps up to fend of all comers, no matter how good they are. I think all of this comp will make Willis an even better player.
