I'd take him too, but there's no indication that he's interested in SMU.

Considering he is the #1 Juco player in the land...I am sure that the coaches would take him as well.

Last I heard he was a lean to Oregon because of teammate Justin Thompson...

Also, I've seen occassions where kids go to schools that aren't even listed on their list of favorites. I'm not sure how often those things get updated.

I'm not sure how often those things get updated.[/quote]............Right, JJ said in Kate's last article this week that guys are interested in SMU "now that he is here", that have already commited to other schools......I really think we have a chance to pick up some quality prospects this year.

There's a post on the football page about the new coach Jones brought with him that they call the Sun God. Says that he was the closer with UH recruiting and was all over the JuCo guys. If you're passing in a JuCo you're going to get through SMU as a football player. The resources are amazing.

this guy would be a great pickup....we went after Juco's when Bennett was around (Rock Dennis for example)....don't see why JJ wouldn't go after them also.
