Dude is a beast of a DL. Is looking to transfer from Miami and already granted release and is visiting UNT this weekend. Kid got homesick (he is from Keller)

JJ needs to get on the phone and get this kid...

#27 DL in the 2007 class
6'3'' 309lbs
3* 5.7 rated

Kid is enormous. Wasn't real aggressive nor could he last more than a couple of plays. I think with the right coach this could be different though. Coached o-line at his hs when he was a junior so this is first hand knowledge.

This is from the Denton Record Chronicle-some of you insiders need to pass this along-apparently there is no academic issues and while interested in North Texas he is not set on them yet.

One of the top defensive tackles in Texas in the Class of 2007 has left Miami and might consider continuing his career at North Texas.

Chris Perry spent just one season with the Hurricanes and is on his way back to Texas, where he played for Keller Fossil Ridge, former Fossil Ridge head coach Hal Wasson confirmed on Friday.

“I visited with Chris this morning and I am not sure what he is going to do,â€

This dude would be awesome to land! Plus, that way, we wouldn't have to face off against him later on.

Just sent Orsini an email. I hope he reads it but I didn't see any coaches contact information listed on the website. We need this guy.

Call his Admin...Can't recall her name...send me a PM, and Monday (bank holiday, but oh well) I will get into my work email and pull her contact email. SEND HER ONE. That's the way to make sure it gets to Jones. I am loathe to sending stuff to Ross...he's as busy or moreso than Jones. Where's Eric Roark when we need him?!

Not to steal from our friend Corso, but "not so fast, my friend."
I'm not saying we'll get him, but I don't think he's a done deal in Lubbock yet.
