BRING HIM IN.

Also, Colin Donoghue from Angelo Central.

Now that's a full-grown man.
Heard he needs to lose a little weight, or at least get stronger.
But based on the performance of Tech's offensive line in recent years, if they like him, I think we're more than justified in giving him a look.

Very interesting prospect. Has fairly long arms and excellent feet, so he could slide out to tackle, if needed. But his best position likely will be at guard. This, obviously, is not the kind of guy who coaches have to "project" once they grow — he's huge. Too big, actually. At first glance, he looks like Larry Allen did when he came out of college (note: I'm not saying he plays like Larry Allen). When the Cowboys drafted Allen, the two most common reactions were "who?" and "he's too fat!" Nwangwu is a tall guy with long arms, but he also has a lot of weight to lose. Not sure what his training and eating regimens are like, but I'm betting they're not great. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe he's still getting rid of some baby fat as his physique matures, but he's pretty round. Nonetheless, he also is very strong and "light on his feet," at least in the way he moves. He plays with good bend in his hips and keeps his pads pretty low for a big lineman. He has exceptional strength in his legs and backside, and could run-block on the college level from Day One. He needs to slim down a little, but as he matures, he actually could play at or above his current weight, and with much-improved strength, particularly in his upper body.

I don't know. I'd call it a longshot, I guess, but not completely ridiculous. I hadn't heard his name in connection with SMU before Scoops' post, but once I read your post here, I made a few phone calls. Chances are thin, but possible, which would be impressive — this guy is a pure mauler. Call it 25-75 chance.
