What are we going to see Sunday?

We may see a lot of names fall.

We may see very few.

We may see a decent amount.

I think it's fair to say that the faithful are more than eager to learn. If you get a kid like Craft to turn down UCLA for you, that's saying something.

I've said it before -- what you see on Feb. 6 will not be a finished list. Others will follow. That signing period runs through the first week of April.

Should be an interesting day.

I would be surprised if we see alot of recruits anounce that they have commited to SMU Sunday or Monday. Not to say our recruiting is not going well. I think it is going better than most people think, but I still think JJ and the recruits are going to keep quite for the most part until close to signing day. I mean JJ is already claiming D commitments that have not come forward yet. By keeping quite, he avoids other schools hasseling our recruits. Certainly most, if any, "switches" will probably anounce on signing day at this point.

I'm not really worried about Craft. If we get him - great. If not .... Willis/Rhodes/Turner/Smith/Mitchell is a pretty solid group, as they learn Coach Jones system. I want linemen, linebackers and receivers, and a lot of them.

I predict we have 15 commitments before we go to sleep Sunday.

Sunday is going to be a wild-assed Rodeo. All coaching staffs will be pushing hard for commitments before the last recruiting weekend. I'll predict 7 SMU commits on Sunday and 5 more by Wednesday.
