Happened to bump into well over 20 recruits tonigh at Texas Land and Cattle. Told them all as they were leaving that we looked forward to seeing them play in Dalllas next year - several of them answered that we would. Derrius Bell was among the group. Several of them were REALLY big. They all looked happy.

Maybe they should have taken them to Lawry's for the Prime Rib dinner, kinda like they do before the Cotton Bowl each year.

On a different note, wouldn't it be great if SMU could play in the Cotton Bowl again some day? Granted it'll be damn near impossible since it's locked in with the Big 12 and the SEC. But a man can wish, right?

If not in the bowl game, maybe we could play a game in the Cotton Bowl stadium.

no all those RBs will most likely end up at Inside Receiver. The best high school athletes play QB and RB-these guys are all small and probably extremely shifty which makes for an easy transition to Inside Receiver. This is pretty common for a Run and Shoot to recruit those kinds of guys. Remember even Jason Wolf was a RB in high school.

How many defensive players on the list?

What happened to Bob's Steak and Chop House? And they have been a great sponsor for SMU over the past few years. Need to support our sponsors. I haven't been their yet, but my friends that have say its one of the best, if not the best, around.

Looking through the Rivals visit sheet: three defenders in the group that visited so far...two LBs and a DB (Banjo)

Best in Dallas, IMHO. But I know that a large number of people will disagree.
