So you're saying we should recruit heavily in Missouri? I just don't see us having much success up there.

BTW the QB for Kansas City-Rockhurst (a perennial power in Missouri) is really special. His name is Nathan Scheelhaase 6-2, 180 lbs. According to Tom Lemming, his coach says "he will be one of the best players at the school, ever :!: : He helped lead his team to the state championship game in 2007. This season he completed 64% of his passes throwing for 1,776 yards and 19 TDs and was picked off just 4 times. he also carried the ball for 843 yards and 14 TDs averaging 7.7 yards/carry." The other top QB in the state next year, Blaine Dalton from Blue Springs, has already committed to Mizzou. Since Mizzou has already picked up Gabbert for this year, Scheelhaase might be looking out-of-state (since Mizzou is the only Div 1A team in the state) to go to school. Maybe June should pay him a visit! 8)

BTW is saw the state title game on FSN Midwest a couple of months ago. Nathan started off slow in the first half, but was exceptional in the second half. Rockhurst blew out Mehlville in the second half on the strength of his all around skills. He really has that special "something" to take a program to the next level. June really should consider making an attempt to sign this kid!

I said roadmap. Obviously, you don't know what that means. However, Missouri used to have one of the largest representations on campus when I was there. Plus it does get cold in the winter. Rockhurst and a few other schools like Blue Springs, Hazelwood, Parkway, etc should be on his calling list!

Will have to admit that I didn't know we ever had a sizable Missouri contingent.

St. Louis has always been well represented and had the 4th largest contingent when I was there.

St. Louis has an excellent representation here at SMU, same as California and Washington DC.
