6-1, 190 CB 3 Stars-offers from Stanford Coaching staff but was not admitted to University despite 3.85. This was the guy I predicted would be the first SMU commitment under June Jones from Hawaii's list because of academics. Better late than never. Other offers from Nevada, Wyoming among others. I saw something on him awhile ago that said he had 7 offers. At one time some sources claimed TCU offered.

Rivals actually has a verified height of 6-0, 186 but that's fine.

186lb? he looks pretty thin at 6ft but I guess that gives him . . . more room to grow? lighter and faster? quickness?

almost more like 160lb

Look at his video on rivals - dude can hit.
He's the other DB that I was guessing we'll get. Guess we'll find out Sunday or Monday.

It would be prudent to say our chances with Mr. Christian are very, very, good.

Yeah, he does bring it on a few of those highlights. . . his picture on rivals just makes him look a little thinner than 180 . . . who cares if he is 150 or 200 as long as he can cover and make plays!!! game on!

he often also plays Safety (at least in the first video I saw) and he appears to have more Safety instincts to me.

SuperPrep Pre-season rated Christian the 92nd best player in the states of California/Nevada/Hawaii. "I'm wanted as a CB, but they don't want to just use me there, so there is a chance I can return kicks and punts." Christian is cat-quick and has good feet and the ability to read the plays. Needs to add weight to be able tgo jam better at the line of scrimmage. A good athlete, has played RB and QB in high school. 3.8/1540.

By the way, I don't know if anyone knows how Steve Christian became interested in JJ and UH. Steve was on his recruiting visit to Nevada and caught the UH-Nevada game. UH beat Nevada (their first win ever in Reno) and Steve liked what he saw...so he asked around to find out how he could tell the UH coaches that he was interested in them.

One way to recruit when you have a limited recruiting budget...steal the players that the other team is hosting by beating them at their house! Have the 3-star player go after you and ignore his recruiting hosts!
