Recruiting rules

I am seriously confused as to rules limitations.

My grandson will probably come to some games with me this year. He is now in 9th grade and plays football for his high school. Is this a violation? What if another M club member talks to him at the game? Can he bring a friend to the game?

Can I bring him to the signing party?

Help!

I'm not sure, but if he's there point him out to me. He can hold my popcorn while I go for another. There may or may not be a hundred dollar bill contained therein. Wink, wink.

I don't think you are allowed to talk to your grandson anymore. J/K

Someone may disagree, but you are fine. He can go to all the games he wants. I think any alumni that talks to him is incidental contact.

I need a third for my pick-up basketball team. 3-on-3, make it take it, over at the 8 ft goals at that school in HP. Is your nephew available?

Just know that if he comes to SMU and plays in a few games and decides he might not yet be ready that he should ask if he could redshirt that year.

He's 6'2" 210lb and plays JV center the way he plays football.....a bit of foul trouble.

Are you sure that you are up for it?

No, but I'm just the head coach.

Am I allowed to talk to a woman's unfertilized egg about SMU, or is it OK until they reach zygote stage?

Do not try to extract any of its stem cells or offer it any of yours. That's a direct NCAA violation.
