I like it even more that the TCU fans are upset with all the press we have been getting

These are the ratings I don't understand. He is only rated a 5.1 on Rivals and yet seems to be a kid in demand by several D1 programs.

The ratings make ZERO sense on most of the kids. Rivals and everybody else knows the great ones and the rest are almost the same guy.

most of his offers came after a surprisingly good year. First D1A offer came in early November which is late to be considered for 3 stars. He might be one that deserves some consideration for an upgrade certainly. Disregard the low ratings when a lot of offers come in or at least think rating + or rating - when the kid gets many late offers or when very few offers come in respectively. But when Rivals raises ratings that get bitched at too. I think he should be about 5.4 quite frankly. If he was taller he'd probably be a 3 star. But I wonder if you are so concerned about the ratings for the 10+ SMU recruits who got no other Division 1A offers.

It might be a misprint but Scott Farrell from mustang maniacs says that he talked to Free's mother and she said he did sign his letter of intent to SMU. His Dad said that Jordan is 6'7' and still growing.

Don't
ALL parents say that?
Welcome to The Hilltop, Jordan! By the way, Chicago has a great song with your name as its title ("Free") ! Maybe the Mustang Band will play it!

Sounds like a steal. Was overlooked by bigger schools.

I've seen him play. He's not 6'7" - I'd say maybe 6'2" or 6'3". He's a hell of a lot thicker than the 260 or whatever is out there on the recruiting services, and he plays nasty. He just mauls guys. I don't know enough about line technique, but I'd bet anything this guy has the ability to play college ball. This year, next year, the year after - that's something only coaches can decide. I saw Parkview play twice this year, and he was by far the best lineman on either team both times (and they've got one headed to LSU).

SMU is SOLID at Center for years to come. Problem is that only one gets to snap the ball at a time.

I think I will trust coach Jones to know what he is doing. Take a look at Hawaii's 2-deep OL. You won't find a single guy over 6-3.
