Texas Football on recruiting class!

Got this from the MM site.

In other news, is this even the same SMU recruiting class from a few weeks ago? SMU has completely transfigured its run-of-the-mill 2008 haul over the past few days, tapping a considerable amount of out-of-state talent while simultaneously snatching back local products who had previously commited to schools all over the country; 24 hours after the Mustangs convinced Aledo ATH and Utah commit Cole Loftin to come to Dallas, coach June Jones worked similar magic with Prosper TE Taylor Thompson (Vanderbilt).
Thompson, who's been on almost every single recruiting radar since the season's inception, was a DCTF Super Team first-teamer in summer edition and a All-Texas High School Team second-teamer in our winter edition. Apparently Jones is a reader! Thompson can catch the ball, block and do all the other things you want out of a tight end, so he has a real chance to play early on if the new offense doesn't click with the guys ahead of him on the depth chart (which, depending on who you talk to, are supposed to be pretty good).
