Jones says he "feels blessed"
Richland linebacker Victor Jones committed to SMU last week, but took his official visit Friday.
"I feel blessed," Jones said with a laugh. "I think it will be a wonderful fit."
Jones, who originally committed to Oklahoma State only to have the Cowboys pull their offer, said he met new Mustangs coach June Jones. Victor said he was a "real good guy" and "humble."
He told him the whole Oklahoma State story, too.
"They didn't want me, and he said, 'Well, Victor we want you,''' Victor Jones said. "I want to be wanted. He didn't have anything really to say other than 'their misfortune, our blessing.''' -Trae Thompson
