He's on the press release, but I don't think he was mentioned during the press conference? I don't recall hearing his name, but Jones mentioned that one person he could not mention because the paperwork was not complete.
Oversight or paperwork delay?

He was not mentioned at the PC, because his NLI had not been received yet. He's on the recruit list now. Thanks.

Correct, being in California we are two hours behind. Evans school has a big signing ceremony that started at noon our time which is about the time of JJ's PC. We faxed over the signed NLI at about 2:00 pm pacific time. But here's a picture of Evan at the signing ceremony looking quite serious.

Evan asked that I also post this photo of all of his friends that got athletic scholarships. Servite High School is a D1 all boys catholic school in Anaheim, California. We are very proud of these young men and their accomplishments.

Hey Proud Mama, question for you...J Serra...does Servite play them? My wife used to teach at St. Anne School in LN, and it is a feeder school to J Serra. We moved back to Texas, but seeing as how my in-laws still live in South County, I still like to keep up.

Yes, J Serra is a member of the newly formed Trinity League and we do play them. This year the Servite v J Serra game was canceled due to the fires. CIF determined that it was a health risk as the entire area was full of smoke and ash. FYI http://www.lhsoc.org/page.aspx?id=110259

Proudmama, has JJ given any indication as to what he thinks will be a good playing weight for Evan? From the looks of the pictures at the signing event, it looks like he's closer to a wrestling weight of 275 or 280 vs. 330.
Either way, Evan will go well alongside Elizee and Handy.
