Okay, I'll give this a shot based on what I remember from the PC.

Here are the guys that I remember JJ specifically saying that they would probably compete for playing time next season:
Chris Banjo, DB (probably at safety)
Torlan Pittman, DL
Quincey Whittington, Slot
Deyon McElroy, DB (probably at cornerback)
Alex Odiari, LB (probably inside linebacker)
Bo Levi Mitchell and Braden Smith, QBs (Both will compete with current QBs, so it depends on spring practice, etc to see who comes out on top. But my guess is J Will keeps his starting gig.)

Here are some guys that from what it sounded like, might also have a legit shot next year:
EJ Drewery, WR - fast and tall target
Jordan Free & Sidney Nwangwu, OL - we lost 3 starters on our O Line, so that leaves room for a guys their size to make a run at starting or at least being in the rotation
Taylor Thompson, DE - we didn't get much pressure on opposing QBs last year, so a guy that's 6'6" and an athelete that JJ said he can see at the next level is probably going to be in the mix
Victor Jones, LB - probably an outside linebacker, JJ had a lot of positive comments on this kind saying that he reminded him of players he'd coached in the past
Keith Robinson, DB - will probably play corner, and we need as much help in our secondary as we can get
Evan Huahulu, DL - will probably play inside on the D line, a wrestler so he has good feet and can use leverage

So there's my take. There are a few others that are intriguing at receiver, but personally, I think since we have at least 3 receivers of substance on our roster returning from last year, JJ may want to try to redshirt several of the ones in this class.

Thank you for your analysis...much appreciated. I think Odiari comes in and starts right away in the middle.

As for our secondary...as bad as it was last year, I really feel it is going to be one of our strengths this year. I think Mcelroy might come in and start alongside McCann at corner. With De'von Bailey and Banjo/hudmann/belll at safety....

And also, Tyler Jones (a true freshman) played some at the end of last year and showed some promise. I think he'll at least be in the DB rotation next year.
