Looks like we were still trying to get a Juco QB right up to signing day --
Alexander is the second quarterback in this UH recruiting class. Brent Rausch of College of the Desert also signed yesterday. Rausch, who visited UH this past weekend, received 11th-hour interest from Southern Methodist

The big disappointment in this recruiting class is the Juco qb that eventually signed with UCLA. We need some depth behind Willis.

Next year being a"rebuilding"year to some extent means the backup qb situation is not so dire. That being said I think a lot of people under-estimate Logan Turner's ability. Plus some of the incoming guys are more ready due to the similar systems they ran in HS.

Sounds like we might not have a first-round draft pick, but I'm getting the sense we might have five quarterbacks who are better than some of the guys we've rolled out there in years past. We've got a ton of improving to do, obviously, but I don't think the QB position is as bad off as many think. Personally, I think Willis will work his tail off and perform just fine in Coach Jones' system.

Good internal competition will only make us stronger at the QB position.
I agree with jimhagle, Logan Turner is a sleeper.

Rausch was not a typical JC recruit, as he has 3 years of eligibility left.
