there are some stories on the internet that Justin Haynes has left his high school team. One of the stories is no longer availiable on the internet but that's what it said on the search blurb. But this site seems to confirm the other report.

Highland (17-8, 10-2) at Palmdale (7-15, 2-9), 7:30 p.m. -- Palmdale is certainly not the same team without Justin Haynes in the lineup, but the Bulldogs can't afford any slip-ups. Highland is tied with Knight and Lancaster at the top of the Golden League and needs to beat the Falcons if it doesn't want to surrender the league title and the nice playoff positioning that comes with it. Playing in Falcon land could be a test for Kyisean Reed and the rest of the pack. Do bulldogs travel in packs?

Didn't he have a season ending injury?

yes it appears it was because of an injury-this is a previous post from Pony Doh.

Haynes, a 2008 recruit, turned his ankle badly in Jan 2 game. Initially it was thought he'd be out for 10 days, but it turns out his year is over. I'm not sure the severity of the injury, but it must be pretty bad. Not sure if surgery is necessary.

Kid ended the season averaging 22 pts, 9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 5 steals per game. Shot a quality percentage from 3 etc. He was pretty much his whole team and they are tanking since he left.

Get Well Justin

Also, I found this on youtube. Palmdale is in white....and I believe Haynes is #23. If so, looks like a very nice player.

Not quite as bad as turf toe.

Would the basketball equivalent be "court toe"?

whatever it was it seemed to have a big effect on his career. never had the same explosion he had in high school.
