former OSU recruit is consistently scoring 30 and 40 points and 15 and 18 rebounds regularly at Weatherford CC. Seen some reports that Kentucky and other big schools are all over him now. Wasn't it just last year when there were reports that he was considering SMU and NTSU?

I do remember that. He was discussed a bunch on here. Looks like he has played himself right out of the picture for both us and UNT.

Someone with better searching skills might be able to bump the couple of threads on him we had going.

The search function always works great for me - that is if I only wanted stories prior to 2004.

Actually, it was 2 years ago. He did enroll at UNT, sat out for awhile, then left for a junior college.

Bottom line is there are alot of very talented jc players in a 100 mile radius from the SMU campus that could make an immediate impact on the team.
