Can / will someone tell me if Beasley had a grandfather or maybe a great uncle who played HS football in the DISD, perhaps at Wilson?

That first play on that film is amazing.
There are a lot of plays on there that are amazing, and you're right, his ability to keep his balance (and to emerge from heavy traffic) is exceptional.
Most impressive: after all of his outrageous runs to the end zone, there was no dancing, no beating of his chest, no choreographed celebration. He got to the end zone, accepted congratulations from his teammates and went back to the bench - he acted like he'd been to the end zone before, and he fully expected to be back.

What I want to know is who is the number 5 kid that Beasley is throwing to? That kid has some serious speed. I wonder if he was a Jr in HS.

There was the one where he does a very flamboyant forward flip right at the goal line. What a showboater!

.
I believe the kid's name is Thomas Stautts and I think he is a senior. Probably a marginal prospect.
