Sorry this took so long. Evan has been busy with school, training and trying to fulfill his community service hours. In this tape Evan wears both numbers 79 and 97 and is in the NG position.

Evan and I had a great time. It was nice that he got to meet so many people. I was with one of the other mothers during the scrimmage and at the bbq. Everyone was very kind to us and hopefully our next visit won't be so rushed. Thanks for the great time.

LOL, actually it said "Tongan Built" I believe he was also wearing his white SMU cap...backwards of course :D

Well, our visit was very short. We arrived Friday evening and left Sunday around noon. I wish we had more time but Evan had to get back to school today. All I can say is that everyone was wonderful to us. I attended the MFF meeting and was able to meet some of the other parents. The scrimmage was wonderful and I was quite pleased with what I saw going on during the drills. The bbq was great and I have to say that I joined the sunburn club too. Then it was back to our hotel and up early Sunday to pack and get to DFW for our flight.

Not sure exactly what they have in store for Evan but hope to find out soon. He is sooo excited about getting there and being a Mustang.

Thanks again for the hospitality and a great visit.

Thanks for the Highlights Proud Mama. Evan looks big, strong, and quick at DT. Just what we need ! I am sure glad JJ is getting interest from quality California athletes. California, like Texas, is a great football state. Welcome to SMU !

Thanks for the props and the welcome Westex. We have decided to follow Evan to Texas so that we're close (yet far enough away  ) to our son and his games. Looking forward to this exciting new chapter in our lives and four more years of FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You will really like it over there. Easy acclimation (except for the humidity). Just get some quality time at Newport/Huntington this summer before you leave.

We're looking forward to it. Evan will miss the beach but right now football is all that is on his mind.

The next month will be filled with getting Evan ready for SMU and house/job hunting.....wish us luck.
