appears more for Basketball but he definitely visited with June Jones too-may explore two sports. He's 5-11 PG in the 2008 Class-(looks like SMU might be playing musical chairs with someone's scholarship. 3 star in Basketball. Seems pretty impressed with SMU but also setting up visits with Virgina and Kentucky. (Wow). SMU has apparently offered as well as Washington State and Pepperdine.

Wow is right. Could PG become a relative position of strength with the addition of the McCoy and Williams? Not a bad turnaround from a few weeks ago when PG looked to be what was holding us back. Also has an offer listed from Washingtion State.
I couldn't find him on the football database - any info on speed, position, etc.?

there are plenty of past stories on him. The ones I've read suggest he is a definite PAC-10 caliber Football player whose interest dropped when he committed and actually signed with Pepperdine in the early signing period. He subsequently has been released from that signing. Wants to play WR in the spread according to a pretty old story-also appears to play CB.

ESPN has him ranked the No. 112 Basketball player in the Country and No. 17 PG.

actually a 3 sport star as he placed in at least 3 events(on Day 2 alone) at the Oregon 6A Track Championship.

Someone started a thread on McCoy a while back. I posted a story that mentioned he prefers b-ball over football, but the story was a couple of months old. His school won state in b-ball.

here's an interesting article about this multi-sport star. Scout at least at one time had him rated as a Top 10 PG in the country.

If he plays FB he doesnt count against the BB scholarship limit does he? I though FB always came first because of all the "baseball" players at 'Bama.

Correct, football always come first so that other sports are not simply filled with football players.
