If I'm a coach, I pull the offer of any kid who posts it on the internet.

All of them with the exception of TAMU have a sort of voiding device... XXXXX through the signature line, FORCIER as a watermark

Why? The offer was made and it would eventually become public knowledge anyways. It's not like anything stays a secret anymore. Even if they did, someone would come along and still offer the guy.

That family is really lame to make their own website and post all 3 of their sons offers

The reason a Coaching Staff would not like it to become public is that QB Prospect B might realize that he ain't the only QB Team A is recruiting like he was told. I'd love if every offer had to made officially on the record-the Coaches wouldn't.

Two thoughts:

1) Immature

2) Nebraska has the best paper stock

Offers in the mail???? My experience is that offers were made in person. Once a kid gets on a mailing list they receive tons of letters but I've never heard of anyone getting an official offer by mail. Perhaps I'm wrong?

Generally that's how its done-an oral offer followed by a written offer. The SMU recruiting timetable was so abbreviated by June Jones late hire that it wasn't really practicable I guess.

Why would he post it on the internet? To show off? I would not want that type of selfish attitude on my team.

Posting the offers before accepting one - or before signing, really - sounds only a small step away from the lineman in California who made up the fact that he was recruited at all.

Isn't that what Rivals, Scout and other services do though.
