if you check back a couple of years ago when he was coming out of Garland he had offers from Florida, Nebraska, Arkansas, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech. Obviously, it looks like there were probably qualification issues since he ended up at Navarro. He seems legitimately interested in staying close to home and is now looking principally at SMU and NTSU.

That's what I'm talking about, 6'4 280, and he looks like he's 25. We should lock him down quick, I imagine, he will be getting a lot more offers as time moves along.

Rivals had him as the No. 67 player in the state of Texas -actually he was about No. 42 just before signing date-out of high school. Good job Scout boys. Rivals had a confirming story at the time of high school signing date-that he didn't have a qualifying score out of high school.

Well, he graduates in December, so I'd think 2009.

So you're assuming the only way he'd qualify to transfer would be after getting his AA/AAS? I don't recall who has to get their assoc to get in and who doesn't, but it would be nice if we had him with 3 years to play 2.

That could be ideal, getting him to enroll in January, so he could have an extra spring practice. Considering he'd have a shorter college career, that would be sensational.
