Kind of had to figure that's where he'd end up.
No worries  there are plenty of other QBs who'd kill to play for Coach Jones. With his brother's legacy at Fresno, this guy had no other choice, did he?

We did not want him anyway.

Meh. Big deal. We've got a legit shot at several other quality QB prospects. Best of luck to the younger Carr.

Some Carrs don't have it in them to be Mustangs.

He's still upset that Kevin Garrett picked off his big brother and then ran him (David) over on his way into the end zone.
Good luck to him at Fresno State. PonyTales and ModelT are right  there are plenty of others we'll get a crack at.

It was almost a no given he was going there. Why not.....his name will get him the position eventually. We are fine with our prospects. Even if no one did come we have Levi Mitchell in a couple years.

Actually, we have Justin Willis for a couple of years. We also have Logan Turner for four, and Bo Levi Mitchell, Braden Smith and Winston Gamso for five.

which makes me think we better find a QB in case something happens to Willis. Seriously what gives all you people so much confidence in this collection of leftover talent. Every school in Texas has better.

So I guess that makes our top QB recruiting priority Josh Nunes.

So you're telling me we have collectively the worst group of QB's in the state of Texas?

I think Mitchell will be a solid quarterback.

Breaking the school record for touchdowns by about halfway through his sophomore season is pretty impressive. If Coach Jones decides to play Willis, and he throws another 51 touchdowns over the next two years, I'd be willing to put his numbers up against just about anyone this side of Graham Harrell. Maybe Harrell's better. Maybe McCoy's better. Then again, maybe they're not. But to suggest that "every school in Texas has better" is ridiculous, and you know it.
