Among uncommitted 3+ players which SMU has offered

WR DeWayne Peace
WR Jaz Reynolds
T Joel Gray
G Joel Huber
DE Kevin Young
DT Siosai Tuipulotu
LB Rufus Porter
CB Marcus Trice
CB Trey Wilson

Among uncommitted 3+ players showing interest in SMU (but no offer reflected in Rivals database-only) include:

QB Drew Allen
QB Drew Hollinghead
QB Doak Raulston
B Isi Sofele
RB Joe Benefield
LB Patrick Nkurowa
CB Julian Dozier

TCU has 10 commitments including two 4 stars, and seven 3 stars with several of the 3 starts rated high 3 stars. The only TCU player not at least rated a 3 star is the Boyce kid (SMU offer) who just committed and has not yet been assigned a rating. TCU almost certainly would be in a Top 20 so far if it released with the 2nd best class in Texas so far.

BTW Scout has a Southwest Region Top 250 which lists SMU Commit James Scott has the number 166 prospect in the Southwest Region -a rare honor for an SMU recruit-I wonder why he isn't get similiar respect from their star system. TCU has 8 on the Southwest Region Top 100 including 5 in the Top 99 in the Southwest Region. (After further evaluation this list is somewhat questionable since it only has players listed from two states Texas and Arizona-more Scout consistency problems on system wide basis). The SMU Scout guys though are doing a truly great job.

Does SMU even have to offer Hollingshead, considering his dad works for SMU? Would go to school for free, after all...

Scott is ranked the #73 Safety by rivals as well....good start for the D, keep those three stars rollin - it's nice that our first recruit was not a 5-2 120 pound hidden gem.

We are off to a great start! Scott is ranked 3 * and number 73 by rivals, Henderson is #44 DE 3 * by scout, and Frazier was a 3 star coming out of high school, excpet now he is a lot bigger!
