i wonder is the plan on playing frazier at qb, safety or reciever?
I played quarterback but most people are considering me an athlete," said Frazier. "I also played wide receiver and some fullback. I thought I played best at quarterback, but I realize that I might be playing other positions in college."

Last year Aledo gave us Cole Loftin and this year Christian Miller. Keep them coming Aledo HS.

Frazier started at QB as a Soph but not as a Junior when Troy Stoudamire transferred in. Right now he is projected as a QB this year although apparently he hasn't clearly won the job from a Junior.

Well, he's good enough to have his picture in Texas Football...one of only three players from 9-5A.

OK, Stallion, what am I missing here. Rivals shows SMU as the only school of interest for Frazier and doesn't even list Miller. Are we recruiting some players that nobody else is interested in? Not to doubt JJ, but......................

Similarly, Miller is listed in the "Top 25" group of OL's in Texas.

You're missing the fact that rivals doesn't know everything (for example: they have us with two commitments as of 6/15), but will add a report soon, detailing how this guy is the next Jonathan Ogden, and how they knew about him all along ... or at least they knew after they read about him on PonyFans.

I have to admit that I have not been overly impressed by Rivals. Christian Miller, as mentioned above, is listed as one of the Top 15 offensive lineman in the State by Texas Football and Rivals doesn't even have a Bio on him! They also haven't reported the commitment and signing of Bennie Thomas, the JC cornerback from West Palm Beach. Additionally, the MustangManiac reporters never seem to have articles on recruits interested in SMU. Most of the articles are written by other school reporters on recruits that just happen to list SMU as an interest. I recently added PonyStampede and am enjoying their reporting a lot more than Rivals.

Here's a report from Texas Football on our recent commitments.
BTW even though neither one of these recruits appears to have any offers right now I do give some credibility to Miller's selection by Texas Football as a Top 25 OLM because that list is prepared by a former University of Texas Recruiting Coordinator.

Dallas Skyline - isn't that in the nice part of town?
This school is also the alma mater of Al Rossum and Antonio Wilson. Sweet.
We've never lost the tailgate.
