Colby Goodwin (6'5.5", 202-215#, 40yd:4.7-5.0; both depending on source) TE from Cy-Fair. Could project well as a big slot/blocking back in the RnS. I dont know if he is quick enough for DE. Seems like a versatile prospect that should spend a year with Viloria. Let me know what you think. Here are a few links.

A slot guy who runs a 4.7? No way. Even if they're not pure sprinters, a la Aldrick Robinson, the coaches seem to like the guys who have a quick burst.

There are plenty of defensive ends out there who run 4.7s, and if they have good technique and high motors, they can be plenty successful. If SMU registers on this kid's radar, I would bet that's his future position.

Is SMU on his radar at all?

apparently the guy has the burst, just not the breakaway speed. I personally like him as a DE, but this is the kind of kid to gray shirt and let grow in the weight room.

I dont know if SMU is one his radar.
