2009 WR Recruit Jordan Turner

New Rivals article on Turner (5-11, 160 lbs) indicates that he is a blazer having run a 4.31 at OSU. Houston and Rice have offered.

"I've been talking to SMU a lot," he said. "I think they're on the verge because I went up there and ran. I talked to coach June Jones. I think they're going to start coming around. Right now I like SMU a lot. June Jones can make you look into it but I really don't know. I'm just waiting around. I'm not really in a hurry. I'm still worried about next season and trying to get a ring."

Don't know how many scholarships we'll have, but he sure sounds appealing.

LBer Michael Sam from Hitchcock is an absolute stud. 6-3/220 range with 4.6 speed. The two are good friends (as are everybody in Hitchcock...).
