Jay Angotti, 5-10, 180. Second on the depth chart as a redshirt freshman for the Huskies last year. Went to high school in Hawaii.

He was a walk-on. Played enough as a RS Freshman to be 2nd team All Academic PAC 10.

I'll wait on Stallion for more details, but it is encouraging to see players transferring here, even if they aren't All BCS Conference players.

From looking at the Washington Scout page it looks like he played on the the coverage special teams but did not get into the games as a DB. After sitting out this year, I guess he will have two years remaining beginning in 2009.

I don't see him on any of the Huskies commitment lists on Rivals for the last 4 years. He was probably a walk-on at Washington.

He was a walk on. I saw him a couple of weeks ago when the team was working out, looks like he has a little work to do to catch up.

He is listed as a soph transfer. Doesn't he have to sit out a year, which would give him only 2 years left.
