That gives Houston four 3 star recruits. Kevin Sumlin is doing a good job in recruiting. Should be some good games between SMU and Houston in the future.

So was this a situation where Drew felt he would have a greater opportunity to play at Houston as opposed to SMU? I wonder if JJ made a serious attempt to recruit him.

other board talks of the possibility that a D1 transfer is on the horizon at QB. Could this be why we offered a backup from SLC and didn't want one of our own staff's sons anyway?

Any idea who this could be? Does it give any possibilities on the other board?

I believe an indoor facility is on the coaches' wish list, and if kids commit elsewhere because of an absence of a facility here, I bet it climbs on their list ... and more importantly, on Steve-O's wish list.
Go PONIES!

Indoor practice facility is without a doubt on Steve's radar. Any idea how much one of these things is going to cost?
Back off Warchild seriously.

Well, the basketball palace cost us $13 mil, and we won't need any space for fancy offices in the indoor place (got those in Ford for football), so I think we can build an indoor for, oh...$12 mil.

There will be a larger uninterrupted area in a football practice facility. That means bigger beams, meaning bigger dollars.

That's why I said 12 million.
You'd be amazed how much Crum money was spent on the offices.

Yeah. That facility is immaculate. Best in the country for sure.

A lot of the money for the basketball offices came in through private donations, at least according to the signs that were up during the tours offered in connection with the groundbreaking.
