"Jordan Turner said he got a letter from the new June Jones coaching staff at SMU this week telling him he would be recruited as an athlete. That means he likely would play either slot receiver or corner back."

Rivals verified him at 5-10.3 so he may be bigger than the article suggests. Looks like a pretty darn good prospect for SMU with over a 1000 yards rushing and over 600 yards receiving last year. What really catches your attention is that he averaged 12.1 yards per carry and 22.9 yards per catch with 22 TDs. Impressive. Rated 5.4-two stars by Rivals.

***Caveat. Impressive numbers but Hitchc.ock is 2A Football. I don't mind taking small-school kids but I expect them to dominate at that level and Turner appears to do that.
