Terren Jones at Friday Morning Practice 08-08-08Moderators: PonyPride, SmooPower Terren Jones at Friday Morning Practice 08-08-08Someone brought this up in another thread, but I never saw an answer. There was a rather large human being in street clothes at practice Friday morning. The coaches seemed to take special care in greeting and talking with him. Any idea who the kid was?

Got this from PonyStampede.com. The kid you are asking about is a friend of Will Densmore. I saw him too, and he was hanging out with Densmore's dad. The kid is around 6'7 350.

You really should not post articles that people pay for onto this website. It is articles like this one that the people that write for ponystampede.com are counting on in order to support their livelihood. Far East Conference
Exactly! They are doing great work over there, and deserve support. Its important to not to steal premium info, or it'll all go down in flames. The more well-supported SMU sites, the better “When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones
Yes, that's the guy, although everything I've seen has him listed as Terren Jones. Picture borrowed from scout.com: ![]()
That is for sure the guy I saw there this morning. Huge.
And I concur on the posting articles thing - it is important to support full-time SMU correspondents. Wouldn't hurt to throw a few posts there way too on their forums. "I think Couchem is right."

One problem is that we already have 6 OL recruits for this class. If we take this guy and Fontana, we will have "OD'd" on OLs. Now don't get me wrong, I would take him in a second, but I think we would have to convert some of the previous OL commits to DL where we can always use some size.
