Then again, according to the Arkansas Dem-Gaz it now comes down to leaving home (Stanford) or staying near home (one hour flight time by his definition).

I personally, with no basis for this at all, seem to think he will go with either Tulane or SMU. It appears his family is very involved with him and I think he would want them to be able to come see him play.

Sometimes I think I want to stay close to home and that I should go to Tulane or SMU and sometimes I think I'd like to experience something new and get out of Louisiana.

Doesn't SMU fit there perfectly? Close to home but outside Louisiana?

And although I am a little biased, SMU is a program with more potential for quick improvement than the Green Wave

His Mom is a Flight Attendant-so that should factor in going away from home. SMU is a happy medium. Wonder what hub she works out of? Is New Orleans a hub City for any Airline?

Does anyone know how the Tulane facilities have bounced back after Katrina?

There is simply no comparison beween NO and Dallas. NO crime rate has gone off the chart. For those of you going to the Tulane game be carefull...seriously. By all reports, it is about as safe as a Mexican border town.

was there last week. Imagine what it would be like if the Cowboys moved their offices from Valley Ranch to Fair Park or at Northwest Highway and Webb Chapel. That's exactly what it looks like where the Saints place is on Airline Hwy. Yes, Tulane's in a nicer part of town, but come on. 25000 at Ford is going to be a lot more fun than 25000 at the Dome. What if SMU played one game a year at Loos Stadium? Maybe they quit doing it, but that's what Tulane has done for awhile, playing at Gormley where BroMar plays its home games.

And no, this isn't a shot at NOLA. My two stepkids grew up there. But come on up to Dallas, Joey.
