HFVictory just commented that TCU now has 3 4 Stars which made me double check-apparently they are re-evaluating players right now

Was he always the #71 guard as well? Not bad.

Ask Kenneth Davis.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

TCU has had some 4 stars pretty regularly since Franchione took over-never 3 in one year I bet. Despite the rumors on the the Frog Forum that they find their recruits in the pumpkin patch, TCU wins because they have been among the Top 3 non-BCS recruiting schools in recruiting since the late 90s and regularly outrecruit most all the schools they compete against.

Out of curiosity, I checked. We now have 3 3-star people. Last year, we had 4.

On OL Christian Miller's ranking, the 5.2 could be an example of one who moves up during the season. He's coming off a torn ACL. However, he is expected to be ready to go this fall.

Just received Tom Lemmings Prep Football Report and he has Chris rated 3 stars as a DEFENSIVE LINEMAN! Here is a partial review,"Chris was brought to my attention back in December when I was traveling through the Dallas area for the first time. Area coaches had recommended him as one of the top DT prospects in the STATE! On film-Once I got to meet him and watch his film I could see why they were so excited. In the game against Arlington Bowie, Chris dominated, particularly as a run stuffer and Bowie had a lot of trouble getting their running game going, mostly because of Mr. Atchison. The key to his game is that he is just able to get around better than most lineman. On offense he is a very productive LT, OC and RG and LG. He even played a little TE and is one of the more versative ball players in the Dallas area. Earned All-League honors at DT."
Grades: 3.5. Benches 325. Listed by Lemming at 6-3, 250, 4.9[/u]

So, what is his likely position here, O or D?

Recruiting services generally rate players based upon where he would project at the BCS level. At the BCS level he would most likely project to a DLM because-well go check the size of the Offensive Lines at say Tech, UT, Arkansas, A&M etc. In CUSA he might be either a DLM or OG or Center. Scout has a pretty slow time on him in the 40 at 5.41 which would suggest OLM, but I've heard other reports he's quicker that. For example, Rivals has an unverified time of 5.0 and the Scouting Report above has an unverified report of 4.9. Lean toward the verified report with such a big discrepancy

Data to Support My Point;
Out of 20 commitments so far, the smallest Texas High School OLM to commit to a BCS school this year is listed at 6-4-most all the committed BCS lineman are 6-5 and above.

As I mentioned he's coming off a torn ACL. So I wouldn't put too much stock in the 40 time. He suffered the injury in mid-November. So we're about 9 months removed.
I think you'll find out exactly how healthy he is when Aledo gets through its non-district season. The key is going to be his lateral movement. IMO, I still think he's going to the OL.

Just so we all know that Stallion is a football god, you can't play offense line if you aren't 6'5"....
Side note...Not one starter on NE Pats offensive line is over 6'5"

I retract my comment, not one on NE is over 6'4"
I always thought O line were supposed to be a little shorter, enabling the QB to throw over the top...but what do I know..
