Ryan Armstrong 5-10 185, is listed on SMU's roster. Roster bio says Named Top 50 in Arizona by Scout.Com as a High School SR. and Named National " Top 25 DB's to watch" by Scout.com. Picture #32 on Pony Stampede Friday practice photo's. Any other info on this guy ?

Looks like Scout has info on him, but he appears to have flown beneath the radar completely at Rivals.

He is one of the '08 walk-ons we reported.

This appears to be a case where the local Scout affiliate in Arizona is pretty tight with the Brophy College Prep school, as this kid got some good coverage. Rated 1 star and I don't see that he had any offers. But he's supposed to have a 30" vertical and 4.47 speed. No stats reported by Scout for his senior year. Brophy is supposedly a top academic institution, so this kid ought to fit nicely in as a walk on at SMU.

I know that and you know that, but the guy who put the roster on SMUMustangs.com doesn't seem to know that.

Glad he is here - dont get me wrong - but I just dont think he is going to see the field.
