Hightower played its first football game in 3 weeks and blew out Willowridge 55-0. Don't have full stats on Johnson but I know he had a 49 yard KO Return, about a 19 yard TD pass and a 2 point Conversion Catch. See the link for some good ole high school football, some boogie dancing and a couple of Darius Johnson highlites-including his TD and KO Return. Johnson is No. 12 and appears in the Second Half of the Video.

Report on Hightowers 45-7 victory on Saturday Nite. Don't think Darius Johnson had a catch.

Hightower quarterback AJ Highsmith faked the hand off to London Hamilton and went behind his back to Darius Johnson for a 45-yard touchdown.

If every commit signs with us just how many receivers will we have on scholarship next year? Possibly way too many to ever play? Our D is in dire need-

I would imagine Bush was preoccupied with the economic problems.

Very productive nite for Darrius Johnson. 5 catches for 161 yards and 3 TDs of 76, 29 and 4 yards in 35-14 victory over Kempner. Hightower remains undefeated.

BTW I found some corrected stats for the prior week. They now list him with 7 catches for 101 yards for the game on October 17th. Two straight 100 yard games for Johnson.

Great video. Three outstanding plays by Johnson. Highly recommended to check this video out. Watch the amazing, incredible one handed catch. Very nice highlight. I think the tape may have cut off right before he finished off his 76 yard TD catch/run. This is what "recruiting over" the 2008 class means. Good chance to start next year at Inside receiver.

wow! Now that is impressive. That is the kind of athleticism and skill we need. I will not be comfortable until we get him signed.
