Athletically he's just about as good as you could ask for-especially for Baylor. He was the No. 4 Ranked Dual Threat prospect in the Country. What surprised me is he has an absolute rocket-and throws a great spiral. I haven't seen him really take something off the ball yet. He throws them all like rockets. He appears to have NFL physical talent-it will be interesting to see how he develops.

washington st is very abysmal. griffin didnt do much vs wake forest in the first game, but i do think he could turn out to be a lethal threat for the bears down the line

Briles is doing a good job adapting his offense to his talent this year.

their qb sets up his own play action, and is a real danger on busted plays.

every game is a dogfight, no easy wins

Vince Young II-maybe even a better physical athlete. Hard to believe but check his Resume. Texas Track and Field High School Athlete of the Year as a Junior setting state records in both the 110 and 300 Meters. Graduated early and basically as a high school senior stepping right into NCAA competition and finished 3rd at the NCAA Outdoor Championship in the 400 Meters. Took him 3 games to set the Baylor All-Time Single Game Rushing Record with 218 yards. He will drive teams crazy with the Read Option-one of my All-Time favorite plays. ZERO Interceptions even though he averages an outstanding 17 yards or so per completion. If he can corral what appears to be a huge passing cannon he could be one of the best in the Country.

Griffin is good fit for type of offense that Briles runs.

Vince Young II comparisons aside, why is this on the recruiting board? Or on PonyFans.com at all?
