Looks like both of these schools have some good talent. Someone needs to tell the coaches about Skyline WR Mike Davis and CB Kerry Nations.

I watched about 60% of the game between Hurricane reports and never saw him touch the ball- I didn't even see them throw a pass in his direction. . The Mike Davis kid seems to be the focus of the team as I believe he had about 3 TDs. BTW Christian Mathews one of the better QB recruits in Texas was injured.

I think Frazier had a 4 yard TD, had 1 54 pass on his only pass and had about 4 runs for 39 yards. I don't think he has caught a pass at receiver all year although I know he played substantial minutes at Receiver in that TV game. Guess he might be playing DB or something but it surprising that he's not being utilized very much on offense. In 5 games he has 55 yards rushing, 58 yards passing and 0 yards in receiving.

I understand he has some solid blocking skills and they are using him as a blocking slot.

there's no such thing. Really-a blocking slot? All slots are supposed to block and all slots are supposed to catch. A better question might be if SMU is in the market for a kid who is a "blocking slot" for his high school team.

That is not to diminish his other skills but they are mostly a running team except for when the are behind. But they mostly throw to Mike Davis.

well they throw the ball a tad more than 20 times a game and they have two receivers who have caught 24 and 23 passes and are a big part of their offense as they have 13 TD catches which is 2.6 TD receptions a game. The Mike Davis kid who is a Junior was great in the game I saw

A friend of mine went to the Skyline vs Lake Highlands game last week and they got behind and had to start throwing the ball. He said that Mike Davis has to run in the range of a 4.3 or 4.4 forty from what he saw. I hope SMU makes a run at him.

Not much of an offensive role for Chris Frazier-had 5 runs for 14 yards-no receptions. 1-1 passing for 2 yards in a 30-16 victory over Richardson.
