Found this blurb on Brandon Henderson coming into Third Week Action. Henderson' Abilene Cooper No. 4 in 4A ended up losing to Abilene High No. 5 in 5A last night 20-13 but held Abilene under 240 yards.
Brandon Henderson leads the team with 16 tackles, including two for loss, and has a fumble recovery, a sack and a pass breakup.

Henderson has been moved from DE to LB for Cooper. This article has a lot of quotes from Henderson

was Henderson the one who was a "soft" verbal to SMU? If so, I hope we start doing some things to solidify things. Doubt that's happened yet.

In one of the most recent updates that I read, (I forget whether it was Rivals or Scout) he indicated that he was now very solidly committed to SMU. Of course, we won't know until signing day, but the article was very re-assuring.

If he continues to have a great season, I'm gonna worry about him until he signs.

No direct word on Brandon Henderson's performance but Abilene Cooper won its first playoff game 35-0 holding opponent to 3 First Downs and only 61 yards Total Offense-and THAT'S PRETTY GOOD

Regarding the story written in the Abilene paper in October:
If he is 4.7 in the 40, DL would appear to be a better fit and then slap a redshirt on him -- if Jones feels like he can afford to do that. I want LBs who can run. 4.7 isn't going to cut it.

Henderson needs to talk teammate Will Ford into switching from Tech to us.
