With 7 OL commitments so far, I think our remaining ships are going to be used on defense.

Given the nature of the shift from HS to D1A, any odds on how many of those OL will wind up on the DL?

linemen definitely need to be a priority. hopefully some of these freshmen we bring in will be able to anchor the o line and maybe we can get some decent sized D linemen. Hard to expect much from your defense when the other team's qb has all day to throw.

As I mentioned on an earlier thread, Atchison was rated 3 stars as a DL by Tom Lemming in his preseason magazine.

Ponyman, I think we have 4 offensive lineman committed the others are defensive (I asked our line coach and that is what he indicated (maybe my lying ears are at fault! Seems to happen all the time now). When I read the article, I noticed that the left tackle, Nick Ash has given a verbal to Nebraska, which is why I made the comment--flippant, but I will always associate Nebraska with huge offensive lines. I just wonder of the two, who is the better lineman?

Mexmustang, I will take your word for it, however, both Rivals and Scout have 7 OL listed and have given no indication that any of them will be DL. Given all the OLs we took in the last class, it would seem likely that more than 1 would be moved to DL if they have the speed to do so. With regards to Ash, I would have loved to see him come to the Ponies but I don't think we were ever under consideration by him.
