He's a tight end in high school.
A defensive end, perhaps, at SMU?

ESPN makes him sound like another Vincent Chase - a big TE who might grow into an OT.

6'4" 250

Jeffers has solid size for the tight end position. As an in-line blocker he will flash the ability to get solid hand placement and create some push off the ball in the run game. He can be a physical kid. He needs to watch his pad level and work to generate more power from his hips. He will do an adequate job of moving his feet and can get overextended some. Does a very adequate job of being able to step and seal a defender. Does a solid job of being able to get up to the second level, but is adequate at adjusting to moving targets in space. As a receiver he displays solid hands and the ability to catch the ball away from his frame. Displays solid straight line speed and runs decent routes. Does an adequate job of being able to get off defenders getting into his route. Jeffers is a solid prospect. Needs to keep developing his game, but with work could develop into a solid well-rounded tight end.
