Keivon Gamble from Dallas Madison is seriously considering changing his commitment to SMU after coming to the game. We definitely need him.
This is one of the reasons we need to continue to fill the stands at Ford because the recruits that are there taking in the game. They need to see the support. Also, it looks like Coach Odum is really making his presence felt in recruiting.

Wait. He went to the game and that made him want to switch? I guess its that he realizes he could easily play early!

yep. Probably figures he'll never get on the field at TU, but came to the game Saturday and thinks he'll be the man here.

the article on Rivals is about as pro-SMU a perspective as I've ever heard, especially considering that he's technically still committed elsewhere.

I just checked and mostly all of Tulsa DB's are juniors and seniors, so he would have played early there too. Hopefully, we will get him.

Just a little confused, the article is titled "#21?", they list 16 below, the rest are four greyshirts?

Am I missing something here? He is a 2 star with offers to mediocre programs except maybe Tulsa. Isn't recruiting 2 stars in the past the reason we are in the predicament we are in now? Wake me up when we start making a bit more of a splash than this.

mt,

We are at a point where any guy that get offered by Tulsa we should go after. Beggers can't be choosers.

on the mark post. if u guys wanna win 3 or 4 games a year keep recruiting these pathetically undersized defensive backs. i wouldnt recruit any db under 5'11''. if i was to recruit any guy smaller, he'd have to have assante samuel-like skills

ponyboy,

Yeah I admit it. I'm at my wits end and its frustrating as hell. Not to mention I just accepted a new job this week which I'm excited about but I have to wait until my boss gets back from Atlanta to tell him I'm leaving. I guess I just wasnt prepared for how dreadful we were going to be this year. I really thought there was a chance for us to show signs of being competitive but clearly we are further away than I thought. I still have faith in June Jones and I still think he's going to get it done, just maybe not as quickly as I and many others had hoped.

"ModelT", I think we all are a little nuts this week. To think we will have to wait two or three more seasons to be competitive is hard to swallow. I was just hoping we would see some week-to-week progress, and I really don't see it, despite my red glasses.

I still think we'll win five this year. We've played exactly as I expected.
