and that stands for Super Model University.
SMU needs 8 big men that can dance, move and have some attitude.
Come on, its the best place to come meet your future wife.
Work for daddy's company and have a sweet life!
Come on Big Men.

Sorry but I have to ask. What is TWSS?
Too weak so sorry?
I guess I do not read enough on the board.

I agree with BUS. We need 3 big strong DT's (and 1 lockdown CB).

TWSS could equal "That's what she said"...but "Too weak so sorry" may be more appropriate...

We are too weak on the D-line - yes sir.
Has to be priority to get some JUCO help.
Believe we have one JUCO DT signed/pledged for next year. Frazier maybe?

SMU has been undersized on the o-line and d-line for 20 years. Where are the juco players and transfers? Tulsa has them, TCU has them, UTEP has them, etc. No coincidence that those teams beat us every year.

I'm sure someone (Stallion) will correct me if I'm wrong, but IIRC I believe at one time during Rossley's tenure as head coach, we had the biggist O-line in the country averaging 6-5 and over 300 lbs. or there abouts. Obviously that in itself wasn't enough.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

I know that was true during the Pony Express days. At least one year our Oline was bigger than the Cowboy's. And they were good.

Greatness in the trenches wins more football games than greatness at the skill positions. Greatness in the trenches creates time for your team which allows the skill players more leeway. If your DL can stop the run and pressure the QB, your corners can lock up the receivers. If you OL can block you can run and pass as you choose. We need Big Uglies. They need to make Sasquatch look pretty.

I heard that the PE uniforms made our OL bigger and won games.

Yeah...right. More like the color green did the job.
